The 6106 Princess was one of Gretsch’s Corvette solidbody guitars that they had hoped would be huge sellers and outdo Gibson and Fender. However, the line didn’t do quite as well as they had hoped. Still, these inexpensive solidbody guitars were fairly popular, mainly thanks to their low prices.
